The Other Way (TOW) turns traditions into living sparks such as books, gifts, and food experiences made with joy. Rooted in Basel, connected worldwide, we create with play and purpose so culture isn’t frozen in time but lived today.

...and caring is the first step of change. That is why we choose with intention; the people we work with, the projects we create, and the way we produce them. Every decision is fair, transparent, environmentally mindful, and built to endure.

Our projects bring together makers and voices from across Switzerland. We collaborate with Illustrators, designers, chefs, and storytellers while opening space for global collaborations.

We honour those origins by giving credit, preserving their essence, and keeping their voice present in what we create. For us, authenticity is not about copying the past, but carrying it forward with honesty and care.
